Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering, and are at least 14 years old, you can find all the forms and information you need in our virtual "Volunteer's Packet" (below). Completely fill out all forms and mail or fax them back to CTRH. You must attend a training session before volunteering. Training sessions are scheduled several times each year.

The next volunteer training session will be Tuesday, June 25th, at 6:30 pm. Training is mandatory if you did not attend training in 2012 and have not yet attended a training in 2013.

Volunteers of the Sessions

Every session, we have wonderful volunteers who make our program possible. These dedicated folks act as "buddies" to the riders, helping them tack and groom their horses, and leading or sidewalking during class.

Each session, one person is chosen as "volunteer of the session." This person typifies the spirit of our program and is honored by having their picture here on our website and in our tackroom to serve as an inspiration to all. They also have a reserved parking place near the entrance to the stable. This is our very small way of saying "thank you" for a very large service.

Horse Angels

CTRH is blessed by all its volunteers, and by a very special group of women, our Horse Angels. In additional to volunteering in classes, these women come to CTRH twice a week, just to be "angels" to our horses.
